Our history:
JR Special Delivery was incorporated in August 1982 in Versailles, KY, by our founder, James Richardson. We are a hot shot delivery company based out of Crossville, TN, providing services to our customers across the continental US. Our business continues to be family-owned after 42 years of service to our customers and vendors alike.
Today, JR Special Delivery is run by Sharon Capello, daughter of James Richardson. JR Special Delivery holds a special place in her heart and holds the same values with the company as when it was first started by her father. Treat everyone as family. It takes Special people to make Special things happen. Sharon is a phenomenal people-person and makes her staff feel as if they are family, and the staff respect her as such. She is the same with our customers, across the board. With her love and dedication to the business, it will forever hold a special place in her heart.
Candy Harwood is the Terminal Manager. Candy has been with JR Special Delivery Inc. since 1998. In the 27 years that Candy has been with JRSDI, she has become an integral part of the team. She manages the driver team and the daily functions in the Crossville terminal. When you reach out, she will be on the other end of the line during regular business hours, and sometimes after hours. Candy is definitely family, to everyone who knows her, and to all of the customers that reach out to her daily.
